April 15, 2023. The meeting will be held at the Dock's Restaurant in Hawley starting at 11:30 AM. This is our yearly school awards program.

Also, we have a guest speaker, Lori Hopkins, who is a basket weaver and will tell us the history of basket weaving among the Western Indians. Menu to follow on the invitation.

Thursday, April 20  Trip to Mohegan Sun Casino. All members and guests are invited. We will take several cars down for several hours of gaming fun and lunch. Leaving at 11 AM from Hawley.

May 16, 2023  This is our annual chapter meeting to be held at Dimmick's Restaurant in Milford. The meeting will start at 6 PM.

This is our annual meeting for members. Come out and dine with your sisters of the Wayne Chapter DAR.

Memorial Day weekend we are going to host a pizza party for the Vets at Vets Hospital in Wilkes Barre. Members are not attending.

June 20, 2023  The meeting will be held at Elegante's Restaurant in Honesdale. We will have a presentation on the flag by Charlene Edgerton as well as information on the flag by Boy Scout Troop 1. The meeting will begin at 11:30 AM. Lunch will be served. Order off the menu.

Sunday, August 20 at the Antiques Exchange in Hawley. BIG YARD SALE. Our biggest fundraiser of the year. Bring your stuff to sell, all must be tagged with a price and you must be in attendance to help set up and take down items. YOU MUST TAKE ALL OF YOUR ITEMS THAT DO NOT SELL WITH YOU AT THE END OF THE YARD SALE. Don't make anyone else responsible to haul your stuff there or back. Martha Washington may appear to attract the attention of people to attend. This is a big event for our chapter. The more items, the better. The event will start at 10 Am and go to 3 or 4 PM. There is ample parking on the site.
